I guess it’s to be expected after the little one coughed all over me the past few days. He handles sickness so much better than me. I? Stayed home from work today. Which was not an easy decision. But it allowed me a three-hour nap, which I needed desperately.
Something about the holidays always seems to trigger illness in our family. Maybe it’s the rushing about getting things down, then letting yourself relax a bit…so it sneaks right up on ya.
I hope you had a lovely celebration. Our home is now chock full of toys. Devin’s so excited about his loot that he’s insisting he’s not hungry when he gets home in the evenings because he wants to get started with the playtime. Crazy kid.
