On being quiet

Anyone who’s met me in person can tell you that I’m quite the talker. A Chatty Kathy, as they used to say back in the day. So it’s surprising even to myself that I’ve gone so many days without much text here. (Although photos can speak volumes too.) I’ll chalk it up to tiredness, busyness and sharing my computer with a husband who’s got plenty of homework to do. Still, I had enough time and energy earlier today to make dinner, so that’s something, right?

  1. Wow, does that ever look yummy and like it came from some famous chef’s kitchen! You are one talented gal all the way around! 🙂

  2. Sometimes I wonder which is better — your ability to prepare food or photograph it once prepared. In either event, if it tastes half as good as it always looks on here, you’re in business.

  3. Well thanks, you guys. But I have to confess that I got up on the Internet and searched in the “easy” category for this dish. Just slap a few things together and pop them in the oven. That’s my kind of cooking! And my new lens has sure upped my ability to photograph food.
