Terra cotta

One of my new planters

I may be a bit behind in getting things planted, but I’m making up for lost time. The husband generously lent his brute strength and superior screwdriver-wielding technique to helping me put together a raised bed for the veggies. I have one more to assemble for some seeds I want to sow: cosmos, zinnas, etc. And I managed to plant five pots worth of annuals even though I didn’t have as much energy as I would have liked. I had a much better crop of planters last year, but I refuse to lament my lost days. Instead, I will comfort myself with the fact that there will be much less watering to be done this summer.
