This is as Halloween as it gets

I would post a photo of my little Superman enjoying the candy-coated festivities tonight, but I’m too tired and time-crunched to even get the pics off of my CF card right now. So, instead, please enjoy a lovely view of the Chicago skyline that I took last Saturday. Right before we met the rockin’ family of the cutest little kitty cat in Chitown. I’ll have more to say about that. Very soon.

  1. wow, lori! i didn’t see THIS photo on flickr! i love it! i can’t wait to see the other photos from your trip. oh, the suspense! the suspense! and thanks for capturing the cutest little kitty cat for posterity. we’ll be showing those photos at her wedding reception! =)

  2. Sarah…I sometimes post photos here that I don’t on Flickr. Just to justify my blog’s bloginess I guess. 🙂 My other excuse is that I haven’t had much time to go through the photos. And now I have Halloween photos on top of it. The horror of it all!

I’m really glad you were happy with the photos of Cadence. I wish we could have gotten more. And I wish we would have had a bit more time to chat. The time went by so FAST!

  3. Well at least you are updating, unlike me! Where is this exactly? I love the composition of this photo. Nice DOF and colors too.

  4. Marie, I’m sure you noticed my last post to your site a few weeks ago. The one where I gave you a hard time. 🙂

This is in the bandshell in Millennium Park. I was near one end, sitting on the steps, just looking around and thought I’d try a few things. I liked the way this one turned out. I need to give my wider-angle lens more love than I do. But it’s just so terrible in low light that I neglect it. Thanks!

  5. Saw your Super Devin on Sarah’s blog! So cute. Your weekend looked like a lot of fun, hope the little guy didn’t go too up up and away on the Halloween candy.
