Fresh-baked breakfast

It’s all in the presentation

Sunday mornings are about making breakfast, reading the paper and downing a pot of tea. At least for me they are. This morning featured Berry Frenchtoast, hot from the oven and sprinkled with powdered sugar. Easy to make and no spatula required.

The best part of today’s paper? Meijer Gardens announced their summer concert schedule. Natalie MacMaster is coming! We were planning to go to her show in Ann Arbor, but now we can stay put. And I think we’ll also grab tickets for John Prine and Keb Mo. They had quite a list this year, everyone from Leo Kottke to B.B. King. So hard to choose.

  1. Thanks! I probably should have credited the recipe. It’s from the April 2004 issue of Cooking Light. Very yummy!
