Babies are fun to shop for. Truly. Who doesn’t like the cute little shoes, sweaters and socks that line the aisles of baby-centric stores? Anything that’s shrunken down several sizes just begs for the “Awwww!” So finding something for little Alec was a blast. Although the tough part was definitely deciding on which cute little thing to buy.
There were receiving blankets of every shade, material and color; socks with boats, ducks and racecars; onesies with adorable designs embroidered on them; cute little baby hats with whimsical stripes; rattles sporting Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet and Tigger; and even more blankets that weren’t for receiving but for some other mysterious task. Of course I hadn’t even ventured to the bookstore at this point, where I would have been lost in “Pat the Bunny” and the rest. So many options, so few babies to buy for!
Hmmm… I sense a reoccurring theme lately: babies and children. Must be Spring Fever! :o)
