Elephant adorning the bar at Morgan’s: Colorado Springs
OK. It’s probably time to wrap up the whole Colorado theme now. I’ve been back for nearly a week and should return to my regular programming. So I leave you with one more glimpse into our three-day trek…this shiny elephant. I was a bit fascinated by his (and his brethren’s) presence as I sat sipping weak Banana Margaritas and joshing with the guys. After a day of airports and scouting locations in an SUV, it was nice to just sit at a bar and veg. But Dan and I both cut the fun short by heading back to our rooms to catch Raymond. Lame, yes, but someone has to be the weak link, right?
