Crowds waiting for coffee and bagels at 900 North
The best thing about being sick? I finished Wicked in just two days and have already read about three-quarters of Saints of Big Harbour. I’m just glad it wasn’t the flu. That always knocks me out so much that reading and even watching TV are a bust. But whatever this is I have is beginning to annoy. There’s only so much coughing and sniffling a person wants to do. And I’ve hit my limit.
But at least you get to spend lots of time in your flannel pajama pants!!! I like to refer to mine as flannel multi-purpose pants. After all, you don’t HAVE to just sleep in them: you can cook, clean, do laundry, whatever. It’s perfectly fine in my mind, to wear them ALL WEEKEND LONG so long as you don’t need to leave your house. Get better! And throw those grungy pants in the wash.
Hey, that’s my building!
Yeah…the PJs were a bit grungy. I’m just excited to be wearing “real” clothes finally!
Not…it’s the building where I saw Warner Saunders drinking Corner Bakery coffee. 🙂
You read Wicked! Did you like it? It is one of my all time favorite books, I must admit. My friend Heidi and I are planning a trip to Broadway this spring to catch the new musical based on it!
Molly, I really liked the book. I’m glad you recommended it. I’ll never look at the Wizard of Oz again!
