A sad little leaf floating in our Red Lion collector’s glass

As I was letting the dogs out this afternoon, I was surprised by the scene on our deck. Newspapers were scattered about — both on the table and the deck itself. Then I noticed two glasses, each half full of water. Finally, I spied the salad dressing. Hmmm. What this means is that the two of us drew a blank after our al fresco dinner last night and completely forgot to clean up. I’m glad we have a fenced-in backyard so the neighbors didn’t notice our little faux paus. Oh, those Smiths.
