Want vs. need

At the time, it felt like I needed it

I went to the frame store the other day to get some frames I needed for our kitchen. And I came across this. What a cute plate…especially if you’re a cat lover like me. It’s tough to pass up such a purchase. Then I started to think to myself, Do I really need the frames? Or do I just want them? It’s a conversation myself and I get into quite a bit. Do I really need the sweater? Or do I just want it? Sometimes myself actually talks me out of a purchase. I haven’t bought a new sweater in a month, in fact. And I’ve rarely stepped foot into the mall lately. But I won out this time, carting home four frames and a lovely little kitty-adorned plate that I’m having trouble finding a place for at the moment. Such is logic.
